This KANOYAMA razor leather is exceptional in more than one way. First of all, by its size. It measures 660 mm long x 67 mm wide x 4 mm thick. This leather is a special version lined with a very thin suede leather on the back. This leather includes 3 straps attached together by the hook: The first strap is made of Cordovan leather, leather under the skin of horse breeches, it is the finishing leather. The second is made of coarser leather to be used before the finishing leather. The third is made of braided linen and is used before sharpening the razor with or without sharpening paste.
