This abrasive stropping paste comes in a two parts set. The red is coarser and the black (fine coarse) is used mostly for polishing edges.
Polishing the edge before stropping makes the edge glide freely across the beard. It also brings a smoother and effortless shave. Use of these stropping pastes must be made on a seperate strops in order to prevent mixing the grades.
The paste should be worked into the leather strop with a cotton cloth and with slight pressure.
