Shaving soap

Shaving soap is probably the oldest grooming cosmetic ever used. It's easy to find everywhere, it's cheap and pretty efficient.

There is one drawback on this, it dries the skin. For people having a normal skin, this is not a problem, but for those of you having a dry skin, shaving with a soap will make it worse.

Soaps are not a good lubricants, which leads to after shave irritations. Remember, the secret of a healthy skin is to hydrate it as much as possible.

You'll find a whole range of soaps but stay focused on soaps made for shaving. Other will perform well, but they will never produce a thick, rich and smooth lather.
